MSU Delivers In-Person and Virtual Nutritional Care to Student Athletes with Healthie
July 2, 2018
New York (July 2, 2018) - Healthie, a software platform and API for health and wellness organizations, has partnered with Michigan State University’s athletic program to provide coordinated nutrition care to student athletes. MSU will leverage Healthie’s software platform and its modern consolidation of tools to deliver seamless, coordinated nutrition care.
Healthie is the wellness industry’s only full-featured EHR, coaching, and scheduling platform used by leading health tech companies that seek to offer virtual services and build long-term relationships with clients outside of the hospital. Organizations that use Healthie launch and scale services faster by avoiding re-creating the wheel, foster long-term relationships with clients, and ultimately offer a preventative, personalized care experience that leads to better health outcomes.
MSU’s athletic program has begun establishing a custom care delivery solution to deliver coordinated, long-term care for their athletes, leveraging Healthie’s API for scheduling, coaching, charting and intake forms and assessments. The partnership will also enable MSU to utilize a single platform to consolidate tools to provide more efficient healthcare services to nearly all of MSU’s 25 varsity sports teams.
“We used lots of different things, none of which satisfied our needs completely…I just got frustrated, started searching, and came across Healthie. Healthie has been an absolute answer to what we needed.”
Rob Masterson RD, CSSD, Director of Performance Nutrition, MSU
“Michigan State University and Healthie share a mission to leverage technology to deliver high-quality, nutritional care for athletes - whether this is in-person or virtual care. We are excited to see MSU expand their services across all of their student athlete teams.
Erica Jain, Chief Executive Officer, Healthie
